Bread lasagna

Here’s lasagna recipes with bread slice instead of lasagna sheet. Try the easy and simple lasagna and enjoy it

Ingredients
Bread — 8 slice
Carrots, capsicum, sweet corn — 2 cups
Tomato puree — 1 cup
Milk — 1 cup
Corn flour — 1 tablespoon
Garlic pods — 4
Mixed herbs ( Oregon, Tyme, Rosemary) — 1 teaspoon
Cheese —- 1/2 cup
Pepper — 1teaspoon
Salt— 1/2 teaspoon
Butter.

Method Add oil to a pan and fry capsicum, corn and carrot till it becomes soft. Please keep aside. Add butter in the pan,add the garlic and fry it till it becomes slightly brown. Meanwhile add corn flour to a glass milk and mix it very well. Heat a pan ,add this mixture to the pan and stir it till it starts boiling and becomes slightly thick. Set aside. Line the bread pieces in the pan, add the cream sauce on top and cover the bread. Add the vegetables on top of the cream sauce and then spread the cheese on top. If you wish you can add 2-3 more layers. Close the lid and cook in low heat till the cheese melts and forms a lasagna texture. Bread lasagna is ready!

I used to live in Dubai.where I was involved in the SAI group. we had many group,one for the ladies which was the Shakti group. We had a family friend who encouraged me to join the group.   I  joined the group. That is where I got the opportunity to do decoration. After two  years the elders saw my involvement, the committee made me the leader of the Shakti group. With Swami’s blessings I could offer some seva .

My Amma/ mother

Who is the most confident person you know?

My Amma will turn 80 years this August. My Amma got married when she was, 19 years old. I was born next year.

I lost appa/ father 32 years ago physically .My brother used to stay with my mother together .  12 years ago my brother got a job in Dubai. His family also moved to Dubai. I also used to live in Dubai at that time. So my mother brought a flat in Chennai.From that time she’s own.

My Amma keeps herself  occupied with art work.

Aval kesari recipe / poha sheera

Aval kesari is one of the quick and easy recipes made with just a few ingredients available at home. Only one thing to remember while making aval kesari. Just like rava, aval also should be cooked soft before adding sugar. Because after adding sugar, it turns slightly firm. so if it is not soft, your sweet also will have its texture.           

Ingredients
Aval / Poha 3/4cup
Sugar – 1cup
Water -2 cup
Ghee – 2 sp
Badam- 5

Method

Dry roast Aval/ poha for 2-3min in low heat. Cool it and power Keep it asid.Next powder the sugar. Keep the water for boiling.Now heat a pan pour the ghee and add the badam fry and keep aside .Next add the powdered poha, fry for two minutes in low heat. Now pour in the boiling water,keep stringing. Next add the sugar and keep stirring for 2 min.Put off the heat.  Aval kesari recipe, poha sheera ready

CHAKKA ERISSERY.                     Ingredients :-    JackRed chilli pwd—     ½ teaspoonMustard seeds—    ½ teaspoonUrad dal—              1 teaspoonCumin seeds—       ¾  teaspoonWhole pepper—      ½ teaspoonDried Red chilli—     2Salt—                     1 ¼ teaspoonCoconut oil—        1 tablespoonFew curry leaves.             Method :-Soak the cowpeas( chavli/ karamani) in water for 15-20mnts and cook it in pressure cooker for 3-4 whistles.Cook cut jackfruit with turmeric , red chilli pwd ,salt and ½ a glass of water. Grind together ½ cup coconut, dried red chillies, pepper and cumin seeds into a fine paste. Once the jackfruit are soft and cooked add in the cooked cowpeas and allow it to cook for 2 mnts. Now add the grounded paste and cook again for 5 mnts. Heat the coconut oil in a pan add the mustard seeds, when they start to splutter add the urad dal , once the dal changes colour add the curry leaves and the remaining coconut and fry till the coconut turns red, add this to the cooked curry and your Chakka Erissery is ready.😊
